Dr. Tom Driscoll

Tom Driscoll is Founder and CTO of Echodyne, the Seattle startup bringing breakthrough radar-vision sensors to autonomous vehicles and commercial markets.  At Echodyne, Tom leads the world-class Research & Development team creating Echodyne’s products, helping them channel their talent and passion as technologists to meet the Echodyne’s opportunity to redefine radar sensing for an autonomous future.  Prior to Echodyne, Tom served as Managing Director of the Metamaterials Commercialization Center incubator at Intellectual Ventures, where he and a small team of scientists helped realize and mature a technology platform that has underwritten 4 start-up companies to date. Tom holds a PhD in physics from UCSD, and a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd, and an adjunct position at Duke University.
